General Appointment Information

Dr. Noe Olvera’s office is open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday; and Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Making an appointment is as easy as calling 361-574-1893. Patients are seen by appointment and physician referral only. Please see the topics below for more information.

  • Registration

For initial appointments with our practice, patients should arrive at the clinic 30 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment time. If you are a new patient, we ask that you complete a new patient information sheet. This form provides valuable information for the physician and will enable us to establish a history and administrative file for you. The new patient information sheet is available for download on this website. If you are an established patient, please arrive 15 minutes prior to scheduled appointment. Visit our Patient Forms Download Center to get your New Patient Packet.

  • Record Changes

It is the patients responsibility to notify the clinic of any personal record changes such as name, address, phone number and dependants.

  • Record Requests

If patients would like for Dr. Olvera to review old imaging or lab studies, it is the responsibility of the patient to gather this information prior to their appointment. Visit our Patient Forms Download Center to read more about record requests.

  • Medications

Prescriptions and refills will be issued only during office hours.

  • Appointment Cancellations

Appointments should be cancelled within 24 hours to allow other patients an opportunity to be seen.

  • Insurance Copays

Insurance copays are expected at the time of service. Copays cannot be waived. A $20 charge is added to any returned check.

  • Referrals

Most patients do not need a referral to make an appointment. However, many HMOs require a referral from your primary care physician in order to utilize your insurance benefits. Verify this with your insurance carrier prior to scheduling your appointment to avoid paying unexpected costs for your doctor’s visit.

  • Insurance Changes

It is the patient’s responsibility to notify the clinic of any insurance changes. A photocopy of the patient’s current insurance card will be kept in the file to ensure prompt and accurate filing.

  • Payments

We accept all major insurances. Payments can be made with cash, check, Mastercard or Visa.
